Effective January 1, 2022, Connecticut employees can begin accessing their paid leave benefits under the state’s Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) Act, one of the most expansive PFML programs in the U.S. Additionally, amendments to the 1990 Connecticut Family and Medical Leave Act (CT FMLA) also took effect on January 1, 2022.
