The IRS has announced spending account limits for 2024.
- The annual contribution limit for health and limited purpose flexible spending accounts (FSAs) will increase to $3,200, up from $3,050 in 2023.
- For plans that allow carryover of unused health FSA funds, the carryover limit will increase to $640, up from $610 in 2023.
- The annual contribution limit for dependent care flexible spending arrangements remains unchanged at $5,000 per year ($2,500 for married employees filing taxes separately).
- The monthly contribution limit for commuter accounts will increase to $315, up from $300 in 2023.
